Scaling and Copying Shape


  1. Point [Copy] on [Edit] menu, and click [Copy & Scale].
    Then you will be able to copy and scale a shape.
  2. Supplemental
    You can enter into the shape copying and scaling status by clicking on [Edit] toolbar.
  3. Select a shape to copy and scale.
  4. Click the base point for copying and scaling on the drawing.

When specifying scale along X and Y axes in numeric values

  1. Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Scale], and Input scales for X and Y axes.
  2. Click a position where a shape is to be copied and scaled on the drawing.
    The selected shape will be copied and scaled to the clicked position.

When specifying ratio of lengths between base point and specified two points

  1. Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Scale Base Point], and click a scale base point on the drawing.
  2. Click a position for copying and scaling on the drawing.
  3. Click a point to decide scale on the drawing.
    The selected shape will be copied and scaled with the ratio of lengths of the line connecting the base point and scale base point, and that connecting the base point and the point to decide scale.
Supplemental
You can specify the base point, angle, scale base point, locate point and point to decide scale by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Base Point], [Angle], [Scale Base Point], [Locate Point], and [Point to decide scale] boxes on Command Window.
To input a relative position from the base point as the locate point, input coordinate values using [@X coordinate , (comma) Y coordinate] format in [Locate Point] box on Command Window.
