# Rotating and Copying Shape

1. Point [Copy] on  menu, and click [Copy & Rotate].
Then you will be able to copy and rotate a shape.
2.  Supplemental ▪ You can enter into the shape copying and rotating status by clicking on  toolbar.
3. Select a shape to copy and rotate.
4. Click the base point for copying and rotating on the drawing.

### When specifying rotation angle in numeric values

1. Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Angle], and input a rotation angle.
2. Click a position where a shape is to be copied and rotated on the drawing.
The selected shape will be copied and rotated to the clicked position.

### When specifying direction point for rotating

1. Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Angle], and click a direction point for rotating on the drawing.
2. Click a position where a shape is to be copied and rotated on the drawing.
The selected shape will be copied and rotated to the clicked position.

### When rotating shape using the angle between the base point and the specified point as that for the line connecting the locate point and the specified point

1. Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Angle Base Point], and click the angle base point for rotating on the drawing.
2. Click a position for copying and moving on the drawing.
3. Click a point to decide angle on the drawing.
The selected shape will be copied and rotated with the angle between the line connecting the base point and angle base point, and that connecting the locate point and the point to decide angle.
 Supplemental ▪ You can specify the base point, angle, angle base point, locate point and point to decide angle by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Base Point], [Angle], [Angle Base Point], [Locate Point], and [Point to decide angle] boxes on Command Window. ▪ To input a relative position from the base point as the locate point, input coordinate values using [@X coordinate , (comma) Y coordinate] format in [Locate Point] box on Command Window.
