Modifying Displays of Lines and Units


You can modify the order of displaying shapes, as well as line pitches, line widths, edge shapes, angle display methods, angle lengths, or display units of angles.

  1. Click [Drawing Settings] on [Settings] menu.
    [Drawing Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Click of each box under [View Shape], and click the setting item.

    Draw Order
    Sets whether shapes are displayed in the order of layers, or data registration.
    Paper Line Pitch
    Sets whether line types of shapes located on all sheets of paper are displayed as continuous, in a fixed line pitch (length) regardless of the scale of the screen, or in a line pitch (length) proportional to the scale of the screen.
    Paper Line Width
    Sets whether line widths of shapes located on all sheets of paper are hidden, or displayed in a fixed line width regardless of the scale of the screen, or in a line width proportional to the scale of the screen.
    Line Pitch of Part Drawing
    Sets whether line types of shapes located on all part drawings are displayed as continuous, in a fixed line pitch (length) regardless of the scale of the screen, or in a line pitch (length) proportional to the scale of the screen.
    Line Width of Part Drawing
    Sets whether line widths of shapes located on all part drawings are hidden, or displayed in a fixed line width regardless of the scale of the screen, or in a line width proportional to the scale of the screen.
    Edge
    Sets the form of edges of shapes. The set edge form will also be applied to printing.
    Corner
    Sets the form of angles of shapes. The set angle form will also be applied to printing.
    Dot Size
    Sets the size of No. 3 type points (dots) on the screen.
  3. Click of [Notation] and [Accuracy] boxes under [Length] and [Angle], and click setting items.
    Notation
    Sets the units of the length and angle of shapes.
    Accuracy
    Sets the number of decimal places used for displaying lengths and angles.
  4. Move the slider of [Area search tolerance] to set the tolerance for recognizing a shape that is not completely closed as an area when specifying the area with the hatching and area measurement commands.
  5. Click [OK].
    The lines and units will be changed according to the set values.
