Displaying List of Drawing Components Registered

You can switch between icon/list display by clicking [View] on the toolbar of the Drawing Components Window.

Change the drawing used to display the list of drawing components

In the [Drawing] box, you can select the drawings currently open in RootPro CAD, drawing templates, drawing components files, or [Current Drawing].
When [Current Drawing] is selected, drawing components in the drawing currently displayed in the drawing window are always shown.

Supplemental
▪ A drawing components file is a drawing or template file located in the folder specified by [Component file locations] on the [File] page of the [Options] dialog box. Drawing components in drawing components files cannot be edited or deleted.
▪ In the [Drawing] box, drawings marked with an asterisk (*) are templates of the currently open drawing. Drawings enclosed in parentheses are drawing components files.
▪ When a drawing components file is updated, the drawing components list is updated automatically.
If it is not updated, click [Reload Drawing Component File] on the toolbar of the Drawing Components list window to update the list.

Display the number of drawing components placed in the drawing

When the drawing component list is Zoomed in, the number of drawing components placed in the drawing can be displayed at the bottom right of the thumbnail.
By clicking on in the toolbar of the drawing component list window, you can show or hide the mark. The mark ● is also displayed on drawing components that are used as shapes in other drawing components.

Sort the display order of drawing components

You can change the display order of drawing components shown in the Drawing Components Window.
Click [Sort] on the toolbar in the Drawing Components window, then select the sort key from [Name], [Data], or [Number in use].
Click [Ascending] or [Descending] to specify the sort order.

Change the registration order of drawing components

You can change the registration order when the drawing components list is sorted by [Data].

  1. Right-click the drawing component whose registration order you want to change in the Drawing Components Window.
    A shortcut menu appears.
  2. Point to [Data Registration Order], then click one of [Move to Top], [Move to Previous], [Move to Next], or [Move to Last].
    The selected drawing component is moved to the specified position.

Search for drawing components from the Drawing Components List window

  1. Enter the search text in the [Search] box of the Drawing Components List window
  2. Click Search or press Enter on your keyboard
    Only the drawing components that include the search text in the drawing component name are displayed in the Drawing Components List window.

    ▪ You can also select a previously entered search text from the Search box list.
    ▪ Click [Clear Search] to display all the drawing components in the Drawing Components List window.
