Modifying Default Settings for Texts to be Created


Modify default settings for texts, such as font, color, or locate base point.

  1. Click [Default Text Setting] from [Settings] menu.
    [Text] page on [Default Shape Settings] dialog box will be displayed.
  2. Supplemental
    You can modify default settings for texts by clicking [Settings] on [Multiline Text] dialog box displayed when creating multiple lines of texts.
  3. Modify default settings for the text.
    The modified settings will be displayed on the preview screen located at the bottom left of the dialog box.
  4. Supplemental
    Click on [Text Style] box, and select a registered style to reflect the settings for the style.
    Click [Load default text settings from template] menu of [Import/Export] to load default settings for the text on the template to current settings.
    Click [Load default text settings from other drawings] menu of [Import/Export] to load default settings for a text on other drawing currently opened to current settings.
  5. Click [OK].
    The default settings for the text will be modified.
  6. Supplemental
    The modified settings will become valid for texts to be created. To modify the settings for texts already created, point [Modify Shape Settings] on [Edit] menu, and click [Modify Shape Settings] or [Modify Text Settings] to select a text, or click in [Text Settings] box on Properties Window.
