Creating B-Spline by Specifying Control Points

B-Splines are those created by connecting specified point arrays with a smooth spline. When creating a B-Spline by specifying control points, specified point arrays will be control points, and a B-Spline will be created within the range of these points.

  1. Point [Spline] on [Shape] menu, and click [B-Spline Curve (Control Point)].
Then you will be able to create a B-Spline.
  2. Supplemental
You can enter into the B-Spline creating status by clicking on [Shape] toolbar.
  3. Specify whether a B-spline is closed or not closed in [Spline Type] on Command Window.
  4. Click point arrays in order to create a B-Spline on the drawing.
Clicked points will be specified as control points for a B-Spline.
  5. Supplemental
You can specify a point array by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Point Array] box on Command Window.
To delete the last input point array, click on Command Window.
  6. Press Enter key on the keyboard, or click on the toolbar on Command Window.
Specifying point arrays will be complete, and a B-Spline will be created.
