Copying, Scaling and Rotating Shape


  1. Point [Copy] on [Edit] menu, and click [Copy, Scale & Rotate].
    Then you will be able to copy, scale and rotate a shape.
  2. Supplemental
    You can enter into the shape copying, scaling and rotating status by clicking on [Edit] toolbar.
  3. Select a shape to copy, scale and rotate.
  4. Click the base point for copying, scaling and rotating on the drawing.
  5. Specify a scale.
    WWhen specifying scales along X and Y axes in numeric values
    Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Scale], and input scales along X and Y axes.
    When specifying ratio of length from base point and that from locate point
    Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Scale Base Point], and click a scale base point on the drawing.
    When specifying the scale and angle simultaneously using 2 lines connecting the base point/locate point and the specified 2 points
    Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Scale⁄Angle Base Point], and click the angle⁄scale base point on the drawing.
  6. Specify an angle.
    When specifying rotation angle in numeric values
    Switch the parameters on Command Window to [Angle], and input a rotation angle.
    When specifying direction point for rotating
    Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Angle], and click a direction point for rotating on the drawing.
    When rotating using angle for line connecting base point and specified point as that for line connecting the locate point and specified point
    Switch the parameter on Command Window to [Angle Base Point], and click an angle base point on the drawing.
  7. Click a position where a shape is to be copied, scaled and rotated on the drawing.
    When specifying scale and angle in numeric values
    The selected shape will be copied, scaled and rotated to the clicked position.
    When specifying scale and angle on drawing
    Click a point to decide scale and point to decide angle to copy, scale and rotate the selected shape.
Supplemental
You can specify the base point and locate point by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Base Point] and [Locate Point] boxes on Command Window.
To input a relative position from the base point as the locate point, input coordinate values using [@X coordinate , (comma) Y coordinate] format in [Locate Point] box on Command Window.
