Pasting Shape Cut-Out or Copied


Paste a RootPro CAD shape or data from other applications registered in the Windows Clipboard on the drawing.

  1. Click [Paste] on [Edit] menu.
  2. Input scales for X and Y axes in [Scale] box on Command Window.
  3. Supplemental
    Scales cannot be specified for data from other applications registered in the Windows Clipboard.
  4. Input a rotation angle in [Angle] box on Command Window.
  5. Supplemental
    Rotation angle cannot be specified for data from other applications registered in the Windows Clipboard.
  6. Click a position where the shape is to be pasted on the drawing.
    The shape will be pasted at the clicked position with the specified scales/angle.
  7. Supplemental
    RootPro CAD shapes are pasted while maintaining the layer and line type attributes. When the same layer or line type as those of a shape to be pasted does not exist on the drawing where the shape is to be pasted, the layer or line type will be added to the drawing.
    When pasting a drawing component with the same name as an existing drawing component on the drawing where the shape is to be pasted, the existing drawing component will be replaced with the new one.
    You can specify the locate point by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Locate Point] box on Command Window.
