Creating Lead


A lead is a line explaining a created shape by attaching text at its end.
You can input any string manually, or coordinate values for X and Y axes for a specified position, as well as a selected shape length automatically.

To display a command parameter to be executed, click / of command parameters, or press Tab key or / key on the keyboard.

  1. Point [Lead] on [Shape] menu, and click [Lead].
    Then you will be able to create a lead.
  2. Supplemental
    You can enter into the lead creating status by clicking on [Shape] toolbar.
    Double-clicking a lead already created display [Multiline Text] dialog box for the one with a string, or [Shape Setting] dialog box for the one without string.
  3. Specify the text input method in [Set Text] on Command Window.
    Free
    Inputs any string in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    XY coordinates
    Automatically inputs X and Y coordinates for a position clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    X coordinates
    Automatically inputs X coordinates for a position clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window. Y coordinates
    Automatically inputs Y coordinates for a position clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window. Length of shape
    Automatically inputs the length of a shape clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    Selectable shapes are lines, circles, ellipses, and elliptical arcs.
    Angle of Shape
    Automatically inputs the angle of a shape clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    Selectable shapes are lines only.
    Radius
    Automatically inputs the radius of a shape clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    Selectable shapes are circles and arcs.
    Diameter
    Automatically inputs the diameter of a shape clicked on the drawing in [(String)] box on Command Window.
    Selectable shapes are circles and arcs.
    None
    Creates a lead without string.
  4. Click a shape or point when [Shape] or [Point] box is displayed on Command Window using the input method specified in Step 2.
  5. Specify whether to display 0 for the digits below a decimal point for texts input in [(String)] box in [Show 0 below a decimal point] on Command Window.
    * You can specify it when [Shape] or [Point] box is displayed on Command Window using the input method specified in Step 2.
    * This setting will affect texts automatically input in [(String)] box when clicking a shape or point on the drawing.
    On
    Displays 0 for the digits below a decimal point.
    Off
    Does not display 0 for the digits below a decimal point.
  6. Input texts in [(String)] box on Command Window according to the input method specified in Step. 2.
  7. Specify whether to locate strings according to the lead settings, or at a free position in [Text Place] box on Command Window.
  8. Specify the number of point arrays for leads in [Point Array] box on Command Window.
    Point Array (2 Points)
    Specify 2 positions for point arrays for leads.
    Point Array (3 Points)
    Specify 3 positions for point arrays for leads.
    Point Array
    You can specify point arrays until you click on the toolbar on Command Window, or press Enter key on the keyboard.

When locating texts according to the lead settings

  1. Click point arrays for leads according to the number of point arrays specified in Step 7.
    A lead will be created.
  2. Supplemental
    · To delete the last input point array, click on Command Window.

When locating texts at free positions

  1. Click point arrays for leads according to the number of point arrays specified in Step 7.
    Clicked point will be specified as point arrays for a lead.
  2. Supplemental
    To delete the last input point array, click on Command Window.
  3. Click a position where a text is to be located on the drawing.
    Texts will be located at the clicked position, and a lead will be created.
Supplemental
You can specify the point array and locate point by inputting X and Y coordinates in [Point Array] and [Text Locate Point] boxes on Command Window.
